On Honesty

Okay, Where to start on Honesty. I can't say that I have always been honest in my life, but when I haven't it has eaten at me until I could no longer keep it a secret, and I had to come clean. Honesty has become a way of life for me. There was a long time when if I thought it would hurt you then I wouldn't tell you, but I have come to realize that its better to hurt and get it over with, that to deceive and lead to false hope. When I meet someone, I always tell them, "Tell me what you think when we meet, don't send me a Dear John: letter later." Some people thought I have realized can't do that. They are afraid that they won't get what you came there for, what ever it may have been.

If you are honest with me, it could possibly lead to friendship, but if you don't you are just what you are.
