1996 - 1998 - The Mitch B. Files

In August of 1996, I enrolled at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS with the desire to pursue a Degree in Business administration. I ended up majoring in sleep, as I was trying to take a full time course load, work a full-time job (At Wal-Mart again), and have a social life. I met a girl named Carla W. and she became my latest Fag Hag (That list is getting bigger and bigger.) Carla and I hung out more and more, and we also pulled Phillip into our fold (Love ya Phleshia!)

I was in college when I met Mitch online in the #Gaymississippi chat room. He was the first real person I had talked to online in a long time. We chatted almost every night, and eventually he asked me if he could come to Starkville and meet me. He came up to see me and I believe it was love at first sight. (If you believe in those things) We hit it off, and not doing very well in college anyways, I withdrew from college moved back to Vicksburg to be with him in late December. We had two wonderful, crazy, happy, horrible, loving, hating years. And I wouldn't change a thing.

I went back to work for Rainbow Casino and really enjoyed my job. I however, longed for something in my field of choice, which at that time was Administrative. In November of 1997, I went to work for McRae's Corporate Office. I got this job with alot of help from a guy I met online. (Hya Eddie!)

I worked with alot of fabulous people there and would love to say thanks to:

  • Dana - Thanks for being there when I needed you
  • Debbie - Thanks for being so cool.
  • Trish - You were always the Diva.
  • Stacey - Girl you are the Goddess. Thanks for keeping me on track.
  • Bill - Cool but always the best fashion statement. (Go Boy!)
  • Judy - A special woman who always knew where it was at.
  • Sue - A Special woman with a heart of gold.
  • Harriett - A wonderful, witty, charming, more good things that you can say in a sentence kinda person.

I started as a Merchandise Assistant and was promoted to a Divisional Assistant for three DM's. (Hya Judy, Jim, and Johnita)

Mitch and I broke up in July, 1998, but continued to live together until the lease was up in January 1999. I will never forget the last hug and tears we shared when we walked out of that apartment for the last time. Mitch will always hold a place in my heart. I moved back in with Troy and we rented a mobile home in Pearl. I guess you never learn when you are trustworthy. First time shame on your Troy, second time shame on me.
