In February of 1991, the area was experiencing one of the worst flu seasons ever and I wasn't passed over. I was out of school for nine days. The school was willing to allow me back in, but for those of you who have taken programming classes, you know that the courses move fast and I was way too behind at that point. Needless to say, I withdrew and made plans to start again in the fall. In August of 1991, I enrolled at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, MS to take courses in Radio and Television Broadcasting. I completed one semester and went back in the spring for semester two. I was also working full time at a wholesale company in Tupelo, MS. That was one of the most fun jobs I ever had. I worked as a night entry clerk keying orders as the sales men brought them in from the stores. (Hya Midge, Amy, Britt, and of course Jameson!) Everything was going well until I met a lesbian by the name of Shannon.
I can't even recall now how we originally met, but I think it was
in my theatre class. I cant say everything about her was bad, but
it began one of the first "real world" downturns in my life.
